Uketamo (pronounced oo-keh-ta-moh) is a Japanese philosophy from the Dewa Sanzan mountains. Meaning "I humbly accept with an open heart," it's the core practice of the Yamabushi mountain monks. It represents radical acceptance of life's realities without resistance—welcoming both the good and the bad.
